This is recipe is super easy and a healthy alternative. I made them just for fun but they would be a great addition to burgers or bbq.


  • 4 medium sweet potatoes
  • 4 teaspoons of garlic olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper


  1. Preheat oven 450 degrees F
  2. Peel Potatoes and cut into matchsticks about 1/4-inch to 3/8-inch wide
  3. Place cut strips into a large bowl, add oil salt and pepper, toss until coated
  4.  Spread Potatoes on to a baking sheets in a single layer and bake for 10 minutes
  5. Remove the baking sheet and gently turn the potatoes, continue baking for 10 more minutes (watch potatoes and turn frequently to prevent burning or sticking to the pan)
  6. Serve immediately
